ShrinkTheWeb Terms of Service

NOTICE: By registering, you are agreeing to the following terms!!

1. Eligibility of Service 
 
Access to our free service is open to everyone initially. If it is determined that you are abusing the system you will be banned permanently.  
 
2. Communication 
 
The right to communicate with you is our only requirement for using our free service. Therefore, if your email does not work or if you UNSUBSCRIBE from our announcements or notifications, then your account will be subject to deactivation when we clean out accounts. It is your responsibility to ensure the accuracy of your email address so that you can receive our notifications and announcements.  We will email you with notifications regarding the service and occasional notices of feature enhancements and new offerings (i.e. NO SPAM!).

The reason this rule is in effect is because it is extremely difficult to provide support to users who do not receive our communications.

3. Privacy
 
Your contact information will not be leased, sold, nor shared with anyone, at any time, ever.
 
4. Multiple Accounts - VIOLATION
 
There is a limit of ONE(1) account per user across ALL of your domains. This rule is in effect because it is extremely difficult to support users with multiple accounts.

5. Promoting ShrinkTheWeb
 
We ask that you help to promote our service by placing a link or banner on your site in a prominent position, but this is not mandatory.
 
6. Liability
 
You agree to use ShrinkTheWeb's services at your own risk and to not hold ShrinkTheWeb liable for any damages for any reason.

7. System Maintenance
 
All efforts are made to keep ShrinkTheWeb's dedicated servers available and responsive at all times. Scheduled downtime will be notified via email in advance to all users that opt-in to the Maintenance Notifications email list found on the Profile page.

8. Cancellation
 
You may cancel your paid services at any time. Your account will remain active until your renewal date at which time it will be automatically downgraded. Submitting a downgrade request is as simple as visiting the "Orders & Invoices" page, clicking on "Cancel ALL Subscriptions", and then confirming the action.
 
9. Refunds
 
A prorated refund for 'failure to provide service' will be provided to any requesting user that has experienced at least one (1) hour of unscheduled downtime. Prorated refunds for 'delays' of service will be determined on a case-by-case basis, depending upon impact to end-users. Users must opt-in to the 'Maintenance Notifications' email list prior to the related event to be considered eligible for service related refunds.  Unscheduled downtime is defined as any period of time that any part of our service is unavailable that was not previously announced in a maintenance notification. Scheduled downtime will be announced only to those who have opted-in unless there is an expected full system outage of more than one (1) hour.  A full system outage is defined as any downtime that results in not only the rejection of new capture requests but also the distribution of previously captured screenshots.
 
10. Adult Material
  
We will honor requests for adult-related thumbnails, but we do so at our discretion. Each account will be reviewed and accounts that are primarily adult in nature will be required to upgrade for continued adult access.
