Ok, the time has come, folks.

I see in the logs that there are a LOT (100's) of users still making image requests using http://www.shrinktheweb.com/xino.php... instead of http://images.shrinktheweb.com/xino.php...

We have given almost a year of notice and reiterated it last month. The sample code has been updated to use images.shrinktheweb.com for almost a year now. So if you haven't taken the time to update your code, then it is about to start giving you errors. Within the next hour, the server will begin dropping all requests for our scripts, if they come to www instead of images.

The change is simple.
http://www.shrinktheweb.com/xino.php...
becomes
http://images.shrinktheweb.com/xino.php...
That's it.

However, the upcoming code change for non-paying users will require a bigger modification anyway, so you'll want to check back here when we post about those changes within the next month.

Oh, and while we're on the subject of code changes, please note that you should also make a few other changes at the same time (for future compliance):

The parameter name changes in that post from last year will eventually be enforced and the old parameters no longer supported. It will probably be later this year or next before we enforce that, but it's better to update now and not have to worry about it.
