How do I refresh a screenshot?

For PRO Users with the Refresh On-Demand PRO Feature simply add &redo=1 before the &stwurl= parameter to refresh any screenshot.

For all users without the Refresh On-Demand PRO Feature, you can refresh 15 thumbnails a month through the ShrinkTheWeb Thumbnail History page. We provide this to correct the occasional thumbnail that comes back blank or broken.

Find the Usage Stats box in your lobby and click the "View History" link located in the bottom right of the box under "PagePix Requests".

This will take you to the Thumbnail History page and allow you to search for the specific domain you want to refresh.

Note: If the site you are searching for does not come up first make sure the spelling is correct, that you are searching with or without the WWW according to how you've made the request on your site, and then try clicking "Show requests by any user (not just those still linked to my account)." Sites are linked to the first user to request OR most recent user to refresh.

Click the drop down arrow under Operations, select "Refresh", and click Go.

The specified thumbnail has been added to the queue for recapture. Please be patient as there is no guarantee on capture times for users without dedicated generators.

Note: You can select "Status" and click Go to see if the refresh has been completed yet.

I have clicked every link on the STW site and dashboard and can NOT find the anything that takes me to this area to refresh a thumbnail.

This is still the procedure. More importantly, did you click the 'View History' link in the area just after you logged in? That will take you to the correct place.

Not sure how long you waited before posting but maybe your browser didn't refresh the image, because it captured quickly. Here are the stats:

Hi,

Please be sure you have checked the:
"Show requests by any user (not just those still linked to my account)."

It is possible that you were not the first account to request the site, or the most recent account to refresh.

Nobody?

I've left two support emails now with no response.

It says "invalid domain"
